  1. Hi,

My name is Melissa Helwig and I write a blog, Little Miss Zombie, where I review horror novels and films. February has been declared Women in Horror Recognition Month and a bunch of blogs are doing something to celebrate women in the horror industry. So I’m interviewing women horror authors and I was wondering if I could interview you? I would conduct the interview through e-mail and post it sometime in February.

  2. Dear Mary,
Hi. Cool website….I am a fellow HWA-er and total horror aficionado. I created the first WRITING HORROR with Mort Castle and would love to touch base with you.
Anyway, keep up the great work!
    All my best,

  3. Hi, James!

Thanks for contacting me. 🙂 WRITING HORROR is a GREAT book. I have it in a prominent place on my shelves. Feel free to write to me any time!

    Take care,

  4. Hi Mom!

I was wondering where I can get Under Cover of Night. You told me it’s not in print anymore, so I assume it’s kind of rare.

I hope everything goes well for you. Love you! 🙂

  5. Dear Mary

My name is Will Blesch. I noticed that you blog about horror books and that you are an author as well and so wanted to connect.

I wanted to get in touch because we’re putting together the first ever, English language, Israeli vampire feature film…and we are trying to get the support of the blogging community, as well as that of the independent film world to help us get the word out.

There was one good article done about us on vampires.com which you can read here: http://www.vampires.com/requiem-for-the-night/

Would you be interested in writing about us? If so…you can get in touch with me personally for a load more details.

I hope to hear from you.

    Best of continued success!

  6. I’m new to this genre. If I were to read your books, which would you suggest that I read first and why?

  7. Hi, Sally! 😀
I’d suggest either THRALL, CHILLS, or THE HOLLOWER; the three seem to be reader favorites, and I feel they exemplify the type of work I do. Also, if you’re new to the genre as a whole, these are less violent than, say, my books CHAOS or SAVAGE WOODS, and less controversial than something like BEHIND THE DOOR (although that one is also a personal favorite).

    Thanks for asking!
